About StudiesForeign

StudiesForeign is an independent atlas of study abroad. We bring programmes, universities and official resources together, country by country, so that students can compare their options in one place and then go straight to the people who run them.

1,503Programmes listed
118Countries with programmes
11,239Universities indexed
101Trusted websites reviewed

Why we built it

Information about studying abroad is spread across hundreds of websites: provider catalogues, university pages, government portals, scholarship sites and review platforms. Each shows a slice. Students end up with dozens of tabs open and no easy way to see what is actually available in a country, who runs it and where to check the rules. StudiesForeign puts those slices side by side.

What you will find here

  • Country guides organised into six chapters, each with key facts, the academic calendar, the student visa you will usually need, the official study portal, programmes by city and universities.
  • Programmes from major providers and partner universities, filterable by term, type and subject, each linking to the organisation that runs it.
  • Universities in every country, with their official websites and, where relevant, their profiles on Hotcourses Abroad and their exchange links with King’s College London.
  • The 100 study abroad websites we think every student should know, from government portals to scholarship programmes.
  • Guides written by our editors on choosing a programme, costs, visas, scholarships and preparing to leave.

How it works

Programme listings are gathered from public pages published by programme providers and directories, and most are refreshed every week. We record facts such as the programme name, the provider, the city, the terms offered and, where published, prices, dates and entry requirements. We do not copy programme descriptions or reviews. Every listing links to the original page, which is where you should confirm details and apply. Our sources and methods page explains exactly where the data comes from.

Editorial principles

  • Independence. No provider, university or agency pays to be listed or to appear higher. We are not an agent and we do not take application fees or commissions.
  • Official sources first. For visas, fees and rules we link to governments and universities, not to third parties.
  • Corrections. If something is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it, usually within two working days.
